Coaching is the practice of facilitating a client’s self awareness, clarity, and development of talents and competencies to work in favor of their goals. Coaching is experienced by individuals working with a highly trained and certified professional in one-on-one or team settings.

Although coaching is often very therapeutic, there are key differences between Coaching and Therapy. Coaching is focused on possibilities in the present and future, whereas Therapy is clinical mental health care that is focused on problems and healing pain associated with the past. Coaching sees the client as a partner, whereas in Therapy, the client is a patient. Coaching and Therapy are similar in that both modalities aim to support the client’s growth and empowerment, facilitate deep insights, and provide a safe and supportive place to be heard. For these reasons, Coaching and Therapy work well in conjunction to support your overall betterment.

Coaching is client-centered, which means that the approach is tailored to your preferences and goals. To start, we will discuss what you’d like to get out of the coaching experience and ensure your goals and desired outcomes are addressed. We will explore what holds you back and develop a plan to move you forward. Coaching sessions are typically 1 hour virtual meetings and will result in actionable insights for you to integrate into your life immediately.
